Electric car sales in Ireland up by 216%

Plug-in electric car sales in Ireland are reported to have more than tripled so far this year to 2,460 new registrations (up 216% year-over-year).

The average market share increased to 4.4% in April. 

The two best-selling models are the Hyundai Kona Electric and Nissan LEAF who are vying for top seller and between them make up half the Irish market.
